Britannia Bridge Primary School is a Lead School for Computing. Maria Temel is a Master Teacher of Computing Level 2, one of only a handful nationally. All our children from Reception to Y6 enjoy and achieve via a computing curriculum that can only be described as ‘second to none’. It provides them with the skills and knowledge they need for today and also for tomorrow’s world.

Computing at School

As part of this nationally recognised network for teaching of computing (Computing at School) we are keen to share best practice and support other schools. We can provide this support by providing Computing Curriculum 2014 training, opportunities to observe our curriculum in practiseand signposting to ensure your ICT infrastructure is robust.

Network of Excellence

The Network of Excellence for the Teaching of Computing is funded by the DfE, Chartered Institute for IT, Google, Microsoft Research, CPHC, OCR and AQA. This means that training and support is heavily subsidised at this stage and joining our network is completely free of charge.
