Reception Class application forms are available during the autumn and early spring term with placements being offered in the summer term prior to commencement in September.
Prospective parents can apply online at Wigan Council Addmissions or contact the school office for a paper copy of the application form.
Completed application forms can be return to the school office. We are always happy to provide advice and support to parents and families.
If you have a two year old or a child that’s about to turn two and are on income related benefits, a low income or your child is in receipt of disabled living allowance you will be entitled to 15 hours of free childcare per week.
Please call us or come into our school office and we’ll help you to complete the online form to check whether you are eligible. We will then help you to apply for one of our 24 part time places available for children in our Ladybirds (2 year old nursery) class.
We also have a limited availabilty of paid sessions. The fee is set in accordance with Wigan Councils agreed rate. This is currently set at £5.20* per hour / £78* per week for 15hrs. If you are interested in a place for your child please contact the school office to check availability.

All application forms should be return to the main school office with your child’s birth certificate (and confirmation of eligibility if you are applying for 15 government funded hours).
We allocate all nursery places one term in advance.
Our closing date for Nursery applications is as follows:
☺ 31st August for a spring term (January) start.
☺ 31st December for a summer term (usually April) start.
☺31st March for an autumn term (September) start.
