10 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

The Governors, Headteacher and Staff of Britannia Bridge Primary school are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, caring, and hardworking Teaching Assistant, who can demonstrate our ethos “HEART” – Happiness, Encouragement, Aspirations, Respect and Teamwork.

We require someone who:

  • has excellent relationships with staff and pupils.
  • puts children and community at the heart of everything that they do.
  • is an outstanding role model.
  • accepts and includes all pupils.
  • supervise and support pupils, at lunch time, always ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • uses their own initiative.

Duties include:

  • setting up the dinner hall.
  • cleaning the dinner hall and furniture after lunch time.
  • supervision of all children.
  • promote good manners and behaviour in the dinner hall.
  • nurturing our children.
  • always give praise and encouragement.
  • be able to work as part of a team, giving assistance, where it is needed.

Experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
